    Dear third grade journal,

Yes, its true, last night i broke my mother’s favorite vase! I was playing catch with my Flamingo plush toy, Pink-la! I love PIink-la! Mother got very mad and grounded me for a whole entire week, that means no Pink-la! No TV, no Video Games and DEFINITLY playing no catch ball! So I will focus on school for a while

I closed my journal and put my dog pencil down. I saw everyone in Room 20 still writing in their journals and thought about last night. It was an accident!! I shouldnt be grounded!!!!!! My name is Kelly K. Jones! The K stands for Karen but i like Kelly K and thats it! I am 8 1/2 years old and my birthday is in 2 months! As u can tell i am in 3rd grade.  I looked at the person next to me. She was the most biggest tattle tale ever! Her name is Stacy! Stacy is not nice! She always tattle tales!! I looked down and saw my old, broken orange bookbag. It was almost time for lunch and I couldnt wait to catch up with Danielle! She was my best friend, she loves pink! I looked at Mr. Sadman, but that dude is always in a good mood, so i think he made up that last name!! Then, the lunch bell rang
